Christian Ehrlicher e1cc2bfeb2 Tests/QTreeView: make styleOptionViewItem more robust
styleOptionViewItem() sometimes fails due to a very small widget size
even when using showMaximized(). This might be due to a mis-configured
vm scrren size or similar. To make sure that all 4 rows are properly
painted set the minimum width to a reasonable value and also resize the
sections appropriately.

This is a semantic patch using ClangTidyTransformator as in
qtbase/df9d882d41b741fef7c5beeddb0abe9d904443d8, but extended to
handle typedefs and accesses through pointers, too:

    auto hasTypeIgnoringPointer = [](auto type) { return anyOf(hasType(type), hasType(pointsTo(type))); };

    auto derivedFromAnyOfClasses = [&](ArrayRef<StringRef> classes) {
        auto exprOfDeclaredType = [&](auto decl) {
            return expr(hasTypeIgnoringPointer(hasUnqualifiedDesugaredType(recordType(hasDeclaration(decl))))).bind(o);
        };
        return exprOfDeclaredType(cxxRecordDecl(isSameOrDerivedFrom(hasAnyName(classes))));
    };

    auto renameMethod = [&] (ArrayRef<StringRef> classes,
                            StringRef from, StringRef to) {
        return makeRule(cxxMemberCallExpr(on(derivedFromAnyOfClasses(classes)),
                            callee(cxxMethodDecl(hasName(from), parameterCountIs(0)))),
                        changeTo(cat(access(o, cat(to)), "()")),
                        cat("use '", to, "' instead of '", from, "'"));
    };

    renameMethod(<classes>, "count", "size");
    renameMethod(<classes>, "length", "size");

except that the on() matcher has been replaced by one that doesn't
ignoreParens().

Marc Mutz aa37e67ef7 Port from qAsConst() to std::as_const()
We've been requiring C++17 since Qt 6.0, and our qAsConst use finally
starts to bother us (QTBUG-99313), so time to port away from it
now.

Since qAsConst has exactly the same semantics as std::as_const (down
to rvalue treatment, constexpr'ness and noexcept'ness), there's really
nothing more to it than a global search-and-replace, with manual
unstaging of the actual definition and documentation in dist/,
src/corelib/doc/ and src/corelib/global/.

Qiang Li f140ef04a0 Fix the crashes when animated QTreeWidgetItems are hidden
QTreeView's drawTree implementation performs lazy layouting
when calling itemDecorationAt. If animations are enabled,
this can change the list of items, and invalidate the copy
made earlier.

Don't copy the list of items, use a reference instead so that
code iterating over the items later operates on valid data.

Add an assert in the private itemHeight method, it must not
be called with an index that is out of bounds.

Volker Hilsheimer e74af68654 QTreeView: fetch as many nested entries as fit into the view
QAbstractItemModel::canFetchMore and fetchMore implementations might only
add a few rows to the model each time they are called. The item views don't
generally expect that, and don't call fetchMore repeatedly, even if there
would be room in the itemview for more data. This problem cannot be
generally solved for all item views, as it would require in repeated expensive
laying out of items.

For nested indexes in a treeview however, we can try to fetch enough child
rows to populate the screen when the item is laid out by repeatedly
calling canFetchMore and fetchMore. To calculate how many items have space,
apply the same heuristics as in the scrollContentsBy implementation to
guess the number of items that can fit into the viewport.

Created test case for the fix.

Volker Hilsheimer c501e09efa Replace QAbstractItemView::viewOptions with initViewItemOption
viewOptions returned a QStyleOptionViewItem object. Such a method
can never support newer versions of the option structure.

Most styleable QWidget classes provide a virtual method
initStyleOption that initializes the option object passed in as a
pointer, e.g QFrame, QAbstractSpinBox, or QComboBox.

Follow that API convention, but name it initViewItemOption, as the
QStyleOptionViewItem struct contains information about the item as
well as the widget itelf.

This is a source incompatible change that will go unnoticed unless
existing subclasses mark their overrides as 'override', or call
the removed QAbstractItemView::viewOption virtual function.

[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QAbstractItemView] The virtual viewOptions
method that previously returned a QStyleOptionViewItem object has
been renamed to initViewItemOption, and initializes a
QStyleOptionViewItem object that's passed in through a pointer.

Volker Hilsheimer 44fb925f50 Phase 2 of removing QDesktopWidget
Remove QDestopWidget public header, simplify the implementation that
maintains a Qt::Desktop type QWidget for each QScreen, and turn
QWidget's initial target screen into a QScreen pointer.

QApplication::desktop() now takes an optional QScreen pointer, and
returns a QWidget pointer, so that applications and widgets can get
access to the root widget for a specific screen without having to
resort to private APIs.

QDesktopWidgetPrivate implementations to look up a screen for an index,
widget, or point are now all inline functions that thinly wrap
QGuiApplication::screens/screenAt calls. We should consider adding those
as convenience APIs to QScreen instead.

Note that QWidget::screen is assumed to return a valid pointer; there is
code that handles the case that it returns nullptr (but also code that
trusts that it never is nullptr), so this needs to be defined, verified
with tests, and asserted. We can then simplify the code further.

QAbstractItemView::setIndexWidget() does not trigger a relayouting when

Within QTreeView::setModel() the header might emit columnCountChanged

Andy Shaw 7e60858cbc Don't edit the item if we did not get the press event on the same item
With a QTreeView it is possible that collapsing an item can cause the
item under the mouse to be a new one and over the checkbox area for the
new item. As a result, a release can cause it to change the check state
even though it did not get the press for that item. This ensures that
it only allows the edit if it got the press as well.
