Tinja Paavoseppä f4050cc5ea Android: Move QtEditText to QtWindow
Every QtWindow has its own QtEditText. QtInputDelegate
uses QtEditText from the QtWindow which has the focus.

QtEditText is a View class which handles the creation
of the input connection, and encapsulates other various
keyboard input related functionalities. Previously
we have only had one, which requests focus when the
software keyboard is opened. However, with the
introduction of child windows, it does not make
sense for all the windows to operate through this
one instance.
Furthermore, since it always needs to have focus
to be able to open the software keyboard, this
leads to a bit surprising behavior in the focus
chain if we want to make each window focusable,
not just the top level one. Having each window
have its own QtEditText makes sure when a window
gets focus, the focus doesn't leave outside
of the matching view's own scope, making it easier
to handle.

This should also make it easier to clean up keyboard
input related events tied to a window when that window
is removed.

Tinja Paavoseppä 3dad99a43e Revert "Android: Make QtWindow wrap the QtLayout instead of inherit it"
This reverts commit 2bc7d38bd6.
The real cause for the problems was the missing runAction() in

Tinja Paavoseppä 702c420f51 Android: Add classes to embed QML into native Android
Add classes that make it possible to add QML as a View into
a native Android app:

QtView: Base class for QtQuickView, handles non-Quick dependent
operations. In essence a Java ViewGroup class which loads a
QWindow and embeds it into itself.

QtEmbeddedLoader: Extends QtLoader for embedded case, creates the
embedded version of QtActivityDelegate and provides an embedded-specific
path to loading Qt libraries (Mostly just allows users to set the name
of the main lib)

QtAndroidWindowEmbedding namespace: Deals with calls from
QtEmbeddedDelegate to create/destroy QWindow and from QtView to
show the window.

Take the QtEmbeddedDelegate introduced in an earlier commit
into use, and add functionality for loading QWindows for
QtViews and managing QtViews into it.

Add a factory for creating instances of QtEmbeddedDelegate.
The factory holds a map of QtEmbeddedDelegate objects and
creates them, with the Activity as the key. This is to make
it so that the same delegate can be used by multiple views
which share the same Context.

Known issues left:
* keyboard focus not working, as with other child windows

Tinja Paavoseppä 8df46c8890 Android: Create QtWindow layout and set parent in the calling thread
In the QtWindow constructor, creation of the layout and setting
the parent window were posted on the Android UI thread, leading
to them being called at a later point. If QAndroidPlatformWindow
did not have a parent at the point it was created in, but
setParent() was called shortly after, the QtWindow.setParent()
call with the actual intended parent got invoked before the
Runnable posted in the constructor got ran, leading to the
parent being overwritten with the null one passed to the
constructor, essentially leaving the QtWindow as a top level
one, while the QAndroidPlatformWindow was a child window.

The above would happen more often with foreign child windows,
sometimes causing hang ups when the parent of the foreign
child window was shown.

Creating the QtLayout outside of the Android UI thread seems
to be safe, as long as we only modify its view hierarchy inside
it.

Tinja Paavoseppä 24a0d958a7 Android: Let QtLoader handle different Contexts when initializing
QtLoader now calls the correct methods when initializing static classes
and retrieving ContextInfo based on the type of the Context (Activity
or Service). This is done to avoid the need for code duplication when
introducing other QtLoader sub classes that deal with the same Context
types, such as the loader for the use case where Qt is used from a
native Android app.
Abstract methods and their implementations in subclasses
aimed at handling this removed as a result.

Tinja Paavoseppä 06d2aa91eb Android: Add a context delegate for embedding QML to native Android
When we are embedding a QML view to a non-Qt Android app, there are a lot
of functionalities that are shared with the refular Qt Android app, but
some are not. We should not, for example, try to control the hosting
Activity.
Create a base class that both the QtActivityDelegate, used for the
standard Qt for Android app, and the delegate for the embedding case
can extend.

In this commit, the QtEmbeddedDelegate is very simple, the
biggest difference to QtActivityDelegate being it does not create
a QtLayout or instantiate a QtAccessibilityDelegate.
It does start the Qt app, without waiting for a layout, and register
to listen for changes in the state of the Qt app.

Taking the embedded delegate into use, loading the embedded QML
views and their handling is added in a follow up commit.

Tinja Paavoseppä 2bc7d38bd6 Android: Make QtWindow wrap the QtLayout instead of inherit it
The layout is a ViewGroup, and should be created in the Android UI
thread, while for ease of use on C++ side we should be able to
construct the Java object in the platform window constructor to
avoid later calls not having a valid object reference. Trying to
make a blocking call to Android thread from Qt thread can lead to
dead locks, so move only the creation of the layout itself into
Android thread, making the QtWindow a wrapper for it, which we can
immediately return to C++/Qt thread. Most of the calls made to
QtWindow are anyway already passed to the Android UI thread.

Tinja Paavoseppä 6ff88f97a6 Android: Add preliminary support for child windows
Update the manual test case for embedded windows to have
native window on Android.

There are still some sharp corners, for example:

* The windows are implemented with SurfaceViews, which makes
  z-ordering with multiple of them a bit tricky. The Surfaces
  they instantiate are basically z-ordered to either be below
  everything, with a hole punched in the window, or on top of
  everything, with the Surfaces created later on top of the
  ones created earlier. Also, with the foreign views it looks
  like the native view is on top of the Surface, because it
  is created later. And since the child windows create their
  Surfaces before the parent, they would be behind the parent
  window, currently circumventing this with letting the
  parent be z-ordered behind everything, and the children
  on top of everything. A follow up commit addresses this by
  changing the native view class to TextureView when multiple
  windows are present.
* Parent window always gets the touch events - fixed in
  a follow up commit
* If a child window has a text edit, it does not receive
  focus when clicking on it

The requirement for separating the app args by tabs only is not
justified, since the the args are passed as a string to C++ where

As for env vars, QtLoader currently expects env vars to be separated

Assam Boudjelthia 2f706df651 Android: set the default theme directly in QtActivity without reflection
Currently the default theme is looked for using reflection in the
android.R package to get an id and then it's set. This is not needed
if we set the theme directly in the user's QtActivity which would have
access to that id directly pre-deployment.

To make setting a theme more in line with Android, retreat to using
setTheme() call directly for user projects instead of having to maintain
some internal field to store the theme name and have the user set that
if they want a different theme for their app.

Also, the Android plugin seems to set an env var for QT_ANDROID_THEME
with that default theme's name and that's used in QAndroidPlatformTheme
to check a theme specific extracted theme style.json, however, the Java
side doesn't seem to ever write to such a path, making this approach
totally redundant. For that reason, this code path is now removed.

Assam Boudjelthia f5e2302851 Android: don't call delegates outside of the Activity
The delegate classes shouldn't be used outside of the Activity/Service
classes, since they're practically private implementation, so don't use
them anywhere outside Activity/Service.

Since Qt Android apps still mainly support having one QtActivity/
QtService, QtNative heavily uses those objects to do various operations.
For that reason, we still need to use the delegate there. The aim is
to change that in future patches and do the operations where they make
more sense for example directly under QtActivityBase/QtActivityDelegate
or Service counterpart.

The QtServiceDelegate is used no where and have no special
implementation, so it's removed here.

Assam Boudjelthia 3a505a859a Android: modularize and simplify QtLoader classes
The Qt loader is now expected to work in the following way:

QtActivity.onCreate()
--| QtActivityBase.onCreate()
----| Initiaze the delegate
----| Creates QtActivityLoader()
------| Creates QtLoader()
--------| Initialize the class loader
--------| Initialize static classes context
--------| Initialize Context Info
------| Sets common environment variables and parameters from metadata
------| Setup style extraction
------| Sets Activity specific metadata
--| Handles Activity themes
--| Call QtLoader.loadQtLibraries()
----| Fetch and load Qt native libraries
----| Fetch and load the app's main library
--| Start the Qt Native C++ app via the delegate

Few things are done in patch to simplify the Qt loader mechanism:

1)
Get rid of some unused methods, and move the loader instances
to be local instead of global.

2)
Split the awfully long methods in QtLoader into smaller methods for
readability and as preparation for next simplifications.

3)
Refactor Qt libraries loading code from the Delegate classes to
the Loader classes where it makes more sense to be at. At the same
time simplify some code into smaller logical blocks.

4)
The same boilerplate code for loading (with System.load()) Qt libs
and the main library was done twice between the Activity and Service
loaders, that is now done directly under the QtLoader. Same story
for initializing static Java classes with activity/service/context.

With this change All relevant Qt library loading logic is now under
QtLoader classes, and the latter have clear loader responsibilities
reflected in the code.

Assam Boudjelthia ac7f22ed0a Android: move input handling from QtActivityDelegate to separate class
To further simplify the code and logic of the delegate, move keyboard
input code to separate class. Make an input delegate available under the
QtActivityDelegate to allow classes like QtNative and the Activity to
access that. For now, it's okay to leave access from QtNative to that,
but for future even that should be simplified and the Activity should be
accessing that directly.

For the case where the QtInputDelegate needs access to
QtActivityDelegate, for now namely updateFullScreen(), a new Listener
is implemented to be implemented under QtActivityDelegate.

Along the way use newer JNI APIs under C++ QtAndroidInput.

Don't make them static methods, so that it can be possible later to
do various keyboard operations to specific activity and not a global
one.

Assam Boudjelthia 3b6d288e3b Android: Simplify Qt for Android hierarchy, less Java reflection!
This changes takes Qt for Android Java code away from the Delegate
classes that uses heavily Java reflection to invoke Activity/Service
calls and overrides. So instead of that, now, we have a QtActivityBase
and a QtServiceBase classes which handle the override logic needed for
Qt directly without reflection.

These Base classes extend Android's Activity and Service directly, and
are inside the internal Qt android package (under Qt6Android.jar).

For example, to handle onConfigurationChanged, instead of the current
way where we need this in QtActivityDelegate:

 public void onConfigurationChanged(Configuration configuration)
 {
     try {
         m_super_onConfigurationChanged.invoke(m_activity, configuration);
     } catch (Exception e) {
         e.printStackTrace();
     }
         handleUiModeChange(configuration.uiMode &
Configuration.UI_MODE_NIGHT_MASK);
 }

And then this in QtActivity:

 @Override
 public void onConfigurationChanged(Configuration newConfig)
     {
         if (!QtLoader.invokeDelegate(newConfig).invoked)
             super.onConfigurationChanged(newConfig);
    }
    public void super_onConfigurationChanged(Configuration newConfig)
    {
        super.onConfigurationChanged(newConfig);
    }

And having to keep it's Method handles around and then use Java
reflection
to call the override behavior done by Qt and the superclass methods.

instead of that, we can do it now in QtActivityBase like:

 @Override
 public void onConfigurationChanged(Configuration newConfig)
 {
     super.onConfigurationChanged(newConfig);
     handleUiModeChange(newConfig.uiMode &
Configuration.UI_MODE_NIGHT_MASK);
 }

Then, we would still have our user facing QtActivity class which extends
QtActivityBase and benefit from the same implementation of Qt logic done
in the base class.

An additional benefit to this approach is that now QtActivity will be
very lightweight and doesn't need to have all the boilerplate code as
before.

[ChangeLog][Android] Simplify Qt for Android public bindings
(QActivity, QtService and QtApplication) by implementing base
classes which use the delegate implementions directly and avoid
reflection.

Juha Vuolle 3ee57b8387 Handle ACTION_POINTER_UP with tablet events
The ACTION_POINTER_UP is used when a non-primary pointer (touch, mouse
stylus, eraser) goes up. Without handling this action in these
cases, the table event remains in 'down' state (misses the
QEvent::TabletRelease) and as a consequence when it is next put on the
screen, eg. a line will be drawn to the new position (in case of a drawing
application).

In addition use getActionMasked() to get the action; non-masked
events would contain the index of the pointer too, and wouldn't
match with ACTION_POINTER_UP whose numeric value is 6. Rather the
actions would be in the lines of:
261, // ACTION_POINTER_DOWN(1), 6 with getActionMasked()
517, // ACTION_POINTER_DOWN(2), 6 with getActionMasked()
And so on.
