As seen in several occasions, both in user code and in Qt proper,
people make these mistakes. What makes it harder to spot is that it doesn't
look like a typo, and feels natural (natural as Q_OS_LINUX instead of Q_OS_LIN feels).
There's been a P1 in qtdeclarative/ and currently there's a Q_OS_WINDOWS usage
in qtwebengine.
This is a recurring problem, no matter how much people test and review
these errors will happen, so the alias is justified.

With Qt 6 in sight, people need to start moving away from
their deprecated APIs, as we want to remove them all in 6.0.
We are marking deprecated APIs with deprecation attributes,
but by default we're disabling deprecation warnings, making
them an opt-in by the user.
We need to do the opposite: make deprecation warnings enabled
by default, and have an opt-out define.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][Important Behavior Changes] Qt now
enables by default warnings when using APIs marked as
deprecated. It is possible to disable such warnings by
defining the QT_NO_DEPRECATED_WARNINGS macro. The old
QT_DEPRECATED_WARNINGS macro which was used to enable
this warning now has no effect (warnings are automatically
enabled).

POSIX specifies that tzset() consults environment variable TZ and
modifies some globals; it also specifies mktime(), localtime() and
strftime() to behave as if they called tzset(). Fortunately, we only
call strftime() from a test and only call localtime() when not
threaded. Provide wrappers for tzset() and mktime() that share the
lock used by our environment-access code, to prevent races on the
environment (and tzset()'s globals) when we call them.
In the process, re-use tst_QDateTime's TimeZoneRollback in its older
test systemTimeZoneChange() and presume that this can now be tested
cross-platform, since TimeZoneRollback is used in another test where
this works.

There had been a fake declaration for qEnvironmentVariable() in qglobal.h
thaqt was only visible to QDoc. It was removed in favor of documenting
both the actual declarations of qEnvironmentVariable(), one with a 2nd
parameter for passing a defualt value and one without that parameter.
But the one without the default value parameter was marked internal, so
it didn't appear in the docs.
When both functions were documented with a shared comment, a bug in
QDoc was revealed, because these functions are global, while the shared
comment functionality had only been implemented for class member functions.
Now the shared comment functionality has been implemented for global
functions, so these two functions are now documented with a shared
comment. We can, of course, reintroduce the #ifdef QCLANG_QDOC trick, if
that is pre3ferred.
