Replace substring functions that return QString with
corresponding functions that return QStringRef where
it's possible.
Create QString from QStringRef only where necessary.

In Qt3 this would indeed be equivalent to QHostAddress("0.0.0.0").
But since Qt4, it creates an address of type Null, and
QHostAddress()==QHostAddress("0.0.0.0") is no longer true.

Mostly related to IPv6, because Q_IPV6ADDR is an array of char, so the
compilers were generating byte access to each value. Instead, force
access as 32- and 64-bit in most places that make sense (64-bit access
decays to 32-bit on 32-bit machines). In one isLoopback(), this is now a
128-bit access for best improvement.
Some smaller improvements relating to SpecialAddress by combining the
three IPv4 special addresses.

This complements QHostAddress::isLoopback. The only missing check now is
for the "Any" address types, though operator== is quite fast nowadays.

Site-local addresses were deprecated in RFC 3879 (September 2004) and
RFC 4193 (October 2005) replaced them with Unique Local Address. ULAs
are part of the global range but supposedly unique to an organization.

Unlike localhost (127.0.0.1), there's really no point in using
::ffff:0.0.0.0, since you shouldn't be sending packets to it. Linux
transforms 0.0.0.0 to localhost, but that's non-standard and won't work
on other OSs, so it's still a bad idea.

In 85136496bc, Shane made QHostAddress
automatically convert any IPv6 address that was v4-mapped to IPv4 in
QHostAddress. While that is an interesting trick, it prevents us from
being specific about what we want. On some OS (like FreeBSD and OS X),
the distinction is relevant, so keep it.
Moreover, it was inconsistent: it might fail depending on how the
QHostAddress was constructed and the order of comparison.
[ChangeLog][Important Behavior Changes] QHostAddress will no longer
convert IPv6 addresses of type "v4-mapped" to IPv4. To perform this
conversion manually, construct another QHostAddress with the result of
toIPv4Address().

code headers accordingly. In the same go we should also fix the links to

With toString(), it was printing "0.0.0.0", which is the same as
QHostAddress::AnyIPv4, making it difficult to tell the two apart.

While QHostInfo and QNetworkInterface are implemented,
socket implementation is just a stub for now. Having
stub implementation is preferable over not having them
at all is because most applications will not build, if
sockets are not available. Even though they do not
do anything useful yet, applications can be compiled
and run to get an idea how network will work on WinRT.

The hashing functions for QDateTime and QHostAddress did not get the
noexcept keyword because they might allocate memory. QDateTime doesn't
do it now, but it could in the future. QHostAddress does allocate
memory today.

The new code now generates lowercase hex instead of uppercase, so

The standard IPv4 loopback address is 127.0.0.1, however anything in
the 127.0.0.0/8 range is also a loopback address.
isLoopback returns true for any address that is in the IPv4 loopback
address range, or is the single IPv6 loopback address ::1

Adds support for binding "dual stack" sockets (via QUdpSocket or
QTcpServer). A dual stack socket will accept incoming connections on
either IPv4 or IPv6 interfaces.
QHostAddress::Any - use this to bind a dual stack socket
QHostAddress::AnyIPv6 - use this to bind a socket for IPv6 only
QHostAddress::AnyIPv4 - use this to bind a socket for IPv4 only
Binding to a specific address rather than one of the "any" addresses
is restricting you to a protocol anyway so no behaviour change there.
IPv6 sockets were previously dual stack on some OS and v6 only on others
Any previously meant IPv4 only
This commit implemented & tested on Windows 7, Linux (Ubuntu 10.04)
and Mac OS 10.6.7.
Windows XP and server 2003 do not support dual stack sockets, even though
they can support IPv6. On those versions, QHostAddress::Any will still
bind to IPv4 0.0.0.0 (which is also the behaviour anywhere QT_NO_IPV6 is
defined)
