Commit 850d850c5a changed from
qMetaTypeId<QDBusArgument>() to QMetaType::fromType<QDBusArgument>() and
in Qt 6, fromType() does not register the type with the database. That
means the lines became runtime no-ops at that time or during the
QMetaType updates since 6.0. All they did was instantiate the C++ inline
variable.
The testing also detected we didn't register QList<QDBusVariant> as an
alias for the "av" signature. I'm not entirely sure you're allowed to
use this because QtDBus does not like re-registration of the built-in
types, and "av" is already assigned to QVariantList. This is no trouble
for the parser, anyway.
Minor change to qdbuscpp2xml to allow reading from stdin, so we don't
have to create temporary files.

qdbuscpp2xml can't know about custom types registered with
qDBusRegisterMetaType<> in the server application whose header file
it's parsing. So add support for custom types using a command line
argument. For example:
qdbuscpp2xml -t 'std::vector<Person>=a{ssss}' peopleserver.h
which generates
<arg name="people" type="a{ssss}" direction="in"/>

A QList<int> where int is the metaType id is a bad idea in Qt 6,
as custom types will start at index 65536. Use a QHash instead.
Also fix the API to use QMetaType as arguments and return values.

I made a clazy automated check that replaced the use of QVariant::Type
by the equivalent in QMetaType.
This has been deprecated since Qt 5.0, but many uses were not yet removed.
In addition, there was some manual changes to fix the compilation errors.
Adapted the Private API of QDateTimeParser and QMimeDataPrivate
and adjust QDateTimeEdit and QSpinBox.
QVariant(QVariant::Invalid) in qstylesheet made no sense.
But note that in QVariant::save, we actually wanted to use the non-user type.
In the SQL module, many changes were actually reverted because the API
still expects QVarient::Type.

It can be easily improved (e.g. for store check that there are no commas

code headers accordingly. In the same go we should also fix the links to
point to qt.io.

There's not much point in caching the result of qMetaTypeId<>,
because it's already internally memoised.
In addition, the code that initialised the static int caches wasn't
protected against concurrent access under the assumption that the
operations performed were thread-safe.
That is true for most of them, but not for the stores to the static ints,
which race against each other:
// Thread A // Thread B
r1 = initialized /*=false*/
r1 = initialized /*=false*/
r2 = qMetaTypeId<...>();
r2 = qMetaTypeId<...>();
message = r2; message = r2; // race, ditto for all other ints
To fix, turn the ints into inline functions that just call the respective
qMetaTypeId<>() function.

Using qMetaTypeId<T> has the advantage that multiple calls during
a program run are much more efficient, since an inlined atomic
is used to store the result. It also ensures that
Q_DECLARE_METATYPE(T) has been used, whereas qRegisterMetaType<T>
(the unary version) will happily register anything.
Had to add a proper default constructor to QDBusError, as the
one doubling as the default constructor wasn't available under
QT_BOOTSTRAP, but Q_DECLARE_METATYPE requires a default ctor.
Also changed a nullary qRegisterMetaType() to qMetaTypeId() in
qDBusRegisterMetaType(). They're equivalent, since the former
just calls the latter, but apart from the miniscule optimisation
that the compiler has to instantiate one function less, the result
is also used, so using qMetaTypeId() better expresses what 'id'
is.

QMetaType::Void was ambiguous, it was pointing to a valid type (void)
and in the same time it was signaling errors in QMetaType. There was
no clean way to check if returned type was valid void or some
unregistered type.
This feature will be used by new QMetaObject revision which will
store type ids instead of type names. So it will be easy to
distinguish between:
void mySlot();
MyUnregisteredType mySlot();
