Shawn Rutledge 49d3080155 xcb: Show valuator atom names properly in categorized logging
During a touch update, this looked questionable since I don't have any
barcode readers or buttonboxes attached:

XI2 touch event type 19 seq 1481 detail 193 pos  116.3,   77.8 root pos 6476.3, 2941.8 on window 3e00006
   valuator              BARCODE value 47796.365791 from range 0.000000 -> 65535.000000
   valuator            BUTTONBOX value 59504.858830 from range 0.000000 -> 65535.000000
   touchpoint 193 state QEventPoint::Updated pos norm QPointF(0.729326,0.907986) area QRectF(...

After the fix it's like this:

XI2 touch event type 19 seq 1235 detail 201 pos  154.0,   64.3 root pos 6168.0, 2794.3 on window 5000006
    valuator    Abs MT Position X value 45520.589958 from range 0.000000 -> 65535.000000
    valuator    Abs MT Position Y value 56519.790001 from range 0.000000 -> 65535.000000
    touchpoint 201 state QEventPoint::Updated pos norm QPointF(0.6946,0.862437) area QRectF(...

ValuatorClassInfo's QXcbAtom::Atom is a Qt enum, which has to be
converted to xcb_atom_t before we can call xcb_get_atom_name_name.
Originally in ce2fe90faa vci was of type
XIValuatorClassInfo; then 7499d4404f
changed it to our ValuatorClassInfo struct, but didn't add the lookup
indirection to this qCDebug.

Povilas Kanapickas 9879d41d05 xcb: Implement support for touchpad gestures
They map to the data exposed by libinput exactly the same way as
touchpad gestures on Wayland. The implementation is functionally the
same and follows the same patterns to preserve similar behavior across
X11 and Wayland.

For example, we use the last known pointer position as the position for
gestures, even though on X11 this data is available as part of events.

The new implementation is only enabled if the used xcb supports the
required APIs.

[ChangeLog][Platform Specific Changes][X11] Touchpads can now detect
multi-finger gestures and send RotateNativeGesture, ZoomNativeGesture

Lars Knoll 28138aa80a Fix show()/hide() for child windows on xcb
Change e946e6895a implements proper
support for ICCM 4.1.4 window state handling. One issue it addressed
is that a show() after a hide() needs to be delayed until the window
manager/X-server has processed the previous event.

This was handled with a deferred task list to send the map/unmap
events. According to ICCM, we should wait for the _NET_WM_STATE
notification before processing the deferred events.

But this is only true for top level windows, as child windows are
not handled by the window manager and will never receive any
_NET_WM_STATE notifications. For those, we should use the unmap
notify event, which means that the X-server has processed the unmap
and handle deferred events once that notification has been received.

This fixes an issue in Qt Multimedia, where QVideoWidget would not
show the video anymore after a minimize of the player or when making
the QVideoWidget fullscreen. This is because QVideoWidget uses an
embedded QWindow to render video using HW acceleration.

And renamed the functions according to Qt guidelines:

getSelectionOwner()   -> selectionOwner()
getQtSelectionOwner() -> qtSelectionOwner()

The previous naming probably was influenced by underlying
C API - xcb_get_selection_owner().

Thiago Macieira cb0ea39895 CMake: remove support for building Qt with the old Intel compiler
This hasn't worked for some time. It's not in our CI and I don't think
it was working at all. When I tried to build it, I ran into several
problems with C++17 and an Internal Compiler Error I did not have any
interest in working around.

After discussing with the Intel compiler team, it was decided that
fixing those issues in the old compiler is not going to happen. Instead,
their recommendation is to adopt the new LLVM-based compiler, which
the last commit added support for.

This commit does not remove qmake support for the old ICC. It's possible
someone is using qmake with a non-Qt6 project and ICC.

Clear the cache when cursor theme changed.

Idealy we should subscribe root window's RESOURCE_MANAGER property
to update cursor theme via Xcursor. KDE already has a daemon
KDE GTK Configurator to sync KDE settings to GTK. Then we can
register the fallback there both for KDE and GTK changes. See also

Liang Qi 8e506fdd29 xcb: fix QWindow::startSystemMove()/Resize() triggered by mouse
We can't get mouse release event from master pointers after
QXcbWindow::doStartSystemMoveResize() which calls xcb_ungrab_pointer(),
it looks like most X11 WMs work as that.

So we try to get mouse release event from slave pointers.

Based on https://specifications.freedesktop.org/wm-spec/1.4/ar01s04.html
, we need to send _NET_WM_MOVERESIZE_CANCEL when we get mouse release
event.

Aleksei Nikiforov 25a7034d78 Qt xcb: remove false detects of Qt::GroupSwitchModifier
In some cases, if X11 is configured with CapsLock as
keyboard language switch key, and CapsLock is toggled
via Shift+CapsLock key combination,
toggled CapsLock is falsely detected as Qt::GroupSwitchModifier
for subsequent key events.

This change fixes this false detect,
but doesn't fix detection of Qt::GroupSwitchModifier
which is likely still broken.

Morten Johan Sørvig 776734576c Call updateHighDpiScaling() on screenAdded()
QHighDpiScaling has two init/update functions:
 - initHighDpiScaling(): called once during QGuiApplication construction
 - updateHighDpiScaling(): called whenever (relevant) screen configuration changes

Currently the calls to updateHighDpiScaling() are made from
multiple places including platform code. Simplify by calling
it from two locations:
	- QWindowSystemInterface::handleScreenAdded()
	- QGuiApplicationPrivate::processScreenLogicalDotsPerInchChange()

Replace comment about early calls to qt_defaultDpi with a
test which calls qt_defaultDpiX/Y with no screens attached.
(Looking at the qt_defaultDpiX() implementation, it is unlikely
that there will be a problem as long as updateHighDpiScaling()
is called before QGuiApplication::primaryScreen() starts returning
a non-null value.)

Ilya Fedin 6560778616 Read DPI from X Settings initially as well
Currently, Xft.dpi from X Resources is read initially,
while changes are monitored for Xft/DPI from X Settings.
These protocols are different and can have different values.
E.g. MATE sets X Resources' Xft.dpi to 96.30859375,
while X Settings' Xft/DPI is set to 197240 at 2x scale.

This results in a very weird bug when Qt can't determine
2x scale initially, but if scale is changed at run time,
Qt changes scale to the right value.

The difference could be checked via xrdb -query and dump_xsettings
(the second is from xsettingsd project).

[ChangeLog] Qt now reads Xft/DPI from X settings at startup,
and will prefer this value over Xft.dpi from X resources.
