In C++, signed overflow math is Undefined Behavior. However, many CPUs
do implement some way to check for overflow. Some compilers expose
intrinsics to use this functionality. If the no intrinsic is exposed,
overflow checking can be done by widening the result type and "manually"
checking for overflow. Or, for X86, by using inline assembly to use the
CPU features.
Used in QtQml.

If the compiler does not offer a way to detect an overflow, we do it by
hand. For unsigned additions, that's easy, since the C++ language
specifies the behavior of the overflow. That's also the reason why this
code is implemented only for unsigned integers.
For the multiplication, if the compiler does not support widening
multiplications, we do it with a division instead. This is necessary for
GCC < 4.5 and compilers not compatible with GCC or MSVC.

the contained type's constructor threw an exception, as is required by

destruction, to keep compatibility with Qt 4.
The solution is to only set the guard to Destroyed only if it is already
at value Initialized. This way, if the HolderBase destructor is run as

The current implementation of qIsNull only returns true if the value is
positive zero. This behaviour is not useful for use cases like
QPointF::isNull, where QPointF(-0, -0).isNull() will return false.
There doesn't seem to be a reason why the function exhibits this
behaviour (-0.0 is not accounted for in the unit tests), and for the
case of QSizeF::scale it causes a bug: qIsNull is used to check for
division by 0.0 before it proceeds, which fails in the case of -0.0.

Their main advantage is that they don't need to allocate memory, so
they can be used in noexcept functions, or dynamic initialisation of

conversions on byte-sized types are no-ops. Still, the conversions are
useful as they facilitate writing of generic code. They can also be used
explicitly as a way to document in code an endian-specific binary
format:
uchar *data;
quint8 tag = qFromLittleEndian<quint8>(data++);
quint32 size = qFromLittleEndian<quint32>(data);

This information can then be accessed by calling

Also added a new overload of disconnect that disconnect a handle
This is required because with the new syntax taking lambda or functors,
it is the only way to disconnect a connection (as it is impossible to
compare functors)
The new return value is QMetaObject::Connection, it is a wrapper around
the internal QObjectPrivate::Connection.
QObjectPrivate::Connection is now reference counted.
tst_qglobal.cpp:
This test set up an internal callback, and the callback do not set any
proper connection handle (and tbh, it would be hard for it to do so).
So the returned QMetaObject::Connection is invalid, and ok is false
