Drawing PE_PanelLineEdit in QStyleSheetStyle with the default argument
widget = nullptr causes a segfault.
drawPrimitive tries to fall back to a container widget's render rule
and therefore calls containerWidget() - which crashes when called with
nullptr.
Container widget fallback is pointless when drawPrimitive() is called
with widget == nullptr. This patch skips it in that case.

Draw tool button menu indicator relative to frame, not content, so that
padding added in the stylesheet creates room between text and indicator.
Also, prevent another double-arrow by ignoring menu indicator rendering
when a menu button subcontrol is used, as the two are mutually
exclusive. This amends 1c338e6d07.
Add problematic case to stylesheet baseline test.

Turn off native indicators if we have custom rules, and if we drew
natively, don't draw custom indicators. This amends
ea0e0a8652 which turned off custom drawing
too aggressively, removing custom indicators also if no custom drop
down arrow (which is only relevant for drop down menu buttons) was set.
When then drawing the custom indicator, respect positioning rules in the
style sheet.
Extend baseline test.

Amends cf52d725156811754cd4e094b0984864795d1d58, after which most
indicator styling was no longer taken into account unless some other
item aspects were styled. Calling the baseStyle to draw the entire item
doesn't call back into the style sheet style for the indicator itself.
The QCommonStyle code that breaks the item up into individual sub
elements cannot be called for each element. E.g. turning off the check
indicator feature changes the layout of the item.
So if the indicator is styled, then we have to draw an otherwise empty
item with the style sheet style, and then clip the already painted rect
before calling the base style to draw text and highlighting with the
correct palette.
Add baseline test for QTreeView with different style sheets.

QTabBar::setTabTextColor's documentation and implementation suggests
that the set color will always be used unless invalid, and that the
foreground role is used otherwise. QTabBar then sets the foregroundRole
palette entry to the specified color before calling the style. The intent
is evidently that the tabTextColor is used no matter the foregroundRole
(which by default is the role that contrasts with the background role).
If the styles always paint the text with WindowText, then the tabTextColor
gets ignored if the foregroundRole is not WindowText (perhaps because
the backgroundRole is set to Base).
Fix this by respecting the widget's foregroundRole when painting the tab
label in the common style (which is the only style that implements
drawControl for CE_TabBarTabLabel). QMacStyle and QStyleSheetStyle
need to be adjusted to prepare the palette consistently with the logic
in QTabBar.

Amends e3b2b12a91, which made the
style sheet calculate the font-dependent text size, but didn't
add the space needed for the close button or a tab icon.
QTabBar's layout code already adds the space needed for icons
and margins to the size; so instead of overwriting that size,
subtract the size needed by the normal font, and then add the
size needed for the font form the style rule, considering both
vertical and horizontal tab bars.
Fix the test case to style only one tab rather than the entire
tab bar, otherwise the font is applied to the entire tab bar,
and not just to a specific tab, which is the style sheet style
code in question.

In Qt 5 style sheets, objects could be selected by an enum-type property
using the integer value of the enum value, e.g
QToolButton[popupMode="1"] { ... }
In Qt 6, the the new meta type system and QVariant implementation enabled
QVariant::toString to return the string representation of the enum value
instead for a property containing an enum. Since QStyleSheetStyle's
attribute matching is string based, this breaks the Qt 5 style selector,
and QCSS code instead needs to use e.g.
QToolButton[popupMode=MenuButtonPopup] { ... }
While the new syntax is arguably preferable, this is an unintentional
change that silently breaks style sheet code (no error or warning at
compile- or run-time).
To support Qt 5-style selectors, we have to change the StyleSelector
interface of the QCssParser API so that we can pass through what type
of value the attribute extractor should return; if an integer string "1"
is provided, then we need to compare the enum integer value; if the
string provided does not represent a number, then we need to compare the
name of the enum value.
Since the pure virtual attribute() method that needs to be implemented
to extract the attribute value of the node is implemented in modules
outside qtbase, add a second virtual method that takes the entire
QCss::AttributeSelector, which includes the value to match. Extractor
implementations can use it to evaluate which type of data to return for
an exact match. The default implementation calls the old attribute()
method so that existing StyleSelector implementations continue to work.
Make the respective change in the QStyleSheetStyleSelector, and simplify
the surrounding code. Adjust other StyleSelector implemnentations in
qtbase. As a drive-by, remove the superfluous virtual declaration from
those overrides.
Once submodules are adjusted to override this virtual function instead
of the (now no longer pure) virtual attribute() method, that method can
be removed.

If scrollbars are styled with a style sheet that includes a box or
removes off the native border, then we never treat them as transient or
overlapping. Otherwise, the layout logic in QAbstractScrollArea will
show them on top of the viewport, overlapping the content.
Add case to the style sheet test baseline test. It's a test for
scrollbars in a scroll area, rather than a test for the styling of the
scrollbars themselves.

Amends 2b2e7b2ac5, which rewrote the
rendering to remove the conflation of menu arrows and arrow icons, but
introduced double rendering of the arrow icons if only the border was
styled.
Add a baseline test for style sheets, with a test function for
QToolButton configured in various ways and styled with different style
sheets.
The new test case includes a Qt 5 build system so that we can compare Qt
5.15 with Qt 6.

An editable combobox uses an embedded QLineEdit as an implementation
detail. That lineedit should use the rules that are set for the combobox
to render itself, similar to what was already implemented for the lineedit
used in a QAbstractSpinBox.
The containerWidget helper function provides the logic for identifying
the container of the rendered widget, returning the QAbstractSpinBox or
the QComboBox for an embedded QLineEdit. Use that method rather than
duplicating the logic.

The Qt style sheet reference claimed that Length properties can be
specified in 'em' or 'ex' units, but that was never implemented.
Add the missing implementation. Since the sizes depend on the size of
the font of the current element, we cannot convert the units in the CSS
parser, but have to do so in the QRenderRule constructor, where we can
make a decision about which font to use if the style sheet itself doesn't
specify a font. Fall back to the widget font if possible; otherwise it
will be the application default font.
The implementation translates em into QFontMetrics.height, identical to
what is already done in the QCssParser. This is in line with the CSS
specification, but contradicts our previous documentation which stated
that 'em' means "width of M". Fix the documentation.

For a style sheet that defines a rule for the menu icon, but not for the
item itself, we ignored the icon rule.
Implement a separate rendering path for menu items with an icon.
That rule takes precedence over a rule for menu item check indicators,
as almost all styles reuse the icon for that.
Factor the icon positioning and rendering code out into a private member
function that we can reuse. Reduce amount of local variables to make
the list of arguments for that member reasonable, the bit checks are
cheap enough.

When calling `setStyleSheet` with property `qproperty-styleSheet`,
`QStyleSheetStyle::polish` will call`QStyleSheetStyle::setProperties`, and then`QStyleSheetStyle::setProperties` goes on to call `setProperty`.Because there is property `qproperty-styleSheet`, it will update stylesheet by calling QStyleSheetStyle::polish`.
This causes the recursive call to crash.

QToolButton can show an arrow instead of an icon, and that arrow can, as
per the documentation, styled via the ::down/up/left/right-arrow pseudo
element. This was not working at all, as the implementation confused the
down-arrow with the menu arrow. Implement this correctly for all arrow
types.
A QToolButton can also have different ways to show a menu, either by
using a separate section of the button that can be clicked; this section
can be styled via ::menu-button and ::menu-arrow.
Or by instant or delayed menu popup when clicking the button itself, in
which case the button shows an indicator in the button itelf; that
indicator can be styled via the ::menu-indicator pseudo element.
The old implementation confused the various options, and the name of the
PseudeoElement_ToolButonDownArrow didn't help with that. So rename that
element to PseudoElement_ToolButtonMenuIndicator, and render it when
there is no separate drop down.

A style sheet that styles only the header arrow, but not the header
section or label, resulted in an overlapped text and header if the text
was also right aligned.
To prevent this, add the space required by the arrow to the size
calculation, and shorten the space accordingly before rendering the
right-aligned label.
Make corresponding adjustments to vertical headers with bottom-aligned
labels.

Since icon, checkmark, text, and shortcut are each rendered aligned
within their own column, we need to take the widest of each element
into account when calculating the size requirement of each item. Otherwise
an item with very long text but no icon will get enough space for the
text, but no space for the icon, resulting in the text running over the
shortcut or edge of the menu.
Fortunately, QStyleOptionMenuItem provides us with the necessary
information.

Skip drawing the focus ring if the widget has a custom styled
border, custom focus ring, or any rule that affects the border.
For QPushButton, if the style rule has a background
set, the bevel will be drawn in the Windows style.
Skip drawing the Mac focus frame in that case too.

If a tab has a font assigned to it through a style sheet, then take the
font size into account when calculating the contents rectangle.
Add a test, which hardcodes the windows style to avoid flaky behavior
when e.g. macOS lays tabs out in the center.

Because the QPushButton's bevel rect is smaller than its actual
widget's rect, custom styled menu indicators are drawn outside the
bevel frame on macOS. Fix this by drawing the menu indicator inside the
bevel's rect instead of the widget's rect.

This change introduced QTBUG-91735, without fixing QTBUG-86857 correctly. The
code already interprets the textAlignment values from the rule, also if no
icon is set. Adding the same, or some default textAlignment to the text flags
if there is no icon doesn't work.

Q_MOVABLE_TYPE was conceived before C++ had move semantics. Now, with
move semantics, its name is misleading. Q_RELOCATABLE_TYPE was
introduced as a synonym to Q_MOVABLE_TYPE. Usage of Q_MOVABLE_TYPE
is discouraged now. This patch replaces all usages of Q_MOVABLE_TYPE
by Q_RELOCATABLE_TYPE in QtBase. As the two are synonymous, this
patch should have no impact on users.

Previous fixes made QPushButton correctly respect the style sheet boxing
model (as it's documented to do), ignoring clicks that were within the
margin area of the button (ie outside the bevel). However, a hover state
selector in the style sheet would still be used for the entire widget.
Turn on mouse tracking for widgets that have a hover state selector, and
handle mouseMoveEvent to set an explicit hovered state only when the mouse
hits the button. Use that state to initialize the style option.

Having three methods with the same name doing different things is
unnecessarily confusing, so follow the standard naming convention in
Qt and call the getter of the resolve mask resolveMask, and the setter
setResolveMask. These methods were all documented as internal.
The publicly documented resolve() method that merges two fonts and
palettes based on the respective masks remains as it is, even though
'merge' would perhaps be a better name.

Amends comment 6e1d70ae12, which
introduced SE_PushButtonBevel so that QPushButton could ignore clicks
outside of the button's bevel.
In the macOS style, make sure that the framerect we pass to
NSButton::alignmentRectForFrame is the rect we receive from QPushButton
in the style options. The frame property of the shared NSButton* object
might not be initialized.
In the style sheet style, handle SE_PushButtonBevel the same ways as
Contents and FocusRect, as it is not a separately styleable property.
