This reverts commit 934f062203.
The patch needs to be modified a bit. Many users considers
not having the old feature as a big regression.
The feature needs to be improved with a variable that is
only set when the user uses setSingleStep.

Vertical scrollbar may get out of sync. When this happens, the calculation of
firstVisibleItem will retrun "-1". This must be handled in ::sizeHintForColumn().
Added an auto-test for the crashes.

Renaming of the private implementation of viewOptions to viewOptionsV1
so that future updates of QStyleOptionViewItem can be easily integrated
in the code with a simple search/replace.

There was a disagreement between the a11y plugin and QTreeView
whether the horizontal header should have been exposed or not.
When the header was hidden, this resulted in that we sent an event
with a child id that was wrong, or in worst case higher than
QAI::childrenCount(). This was the reason we got the warning
output as described in the task.
With this commit, we consistently *expose* hidden headers both for
QTreeView and QTableView, but ensure that their state().invisible is
set to true instead.
This makes it consistent with how hidden cells are exposed.
This also fixes a bug in QTableViewPrivate::accessibleTable2Index
where we always added 1 to the index, which was spotted while
writing the test.

Before we went through non hidden indexes, but we never considered
the visual order. This patch fixes that issue.
Though it was wrong before, it probably never was a big problem
since it was unlikely that the tree (on logical index 0) was
swapped or hidden, but
658e42e77a
makes it more likely that problems with wrong focus could occur.

The documentation says that we scroll one pixel
Quote:
"QAbstractItemView::ScrollPerPixel (value 1)"
"The view will scroll the contents one pixel at a time."
However until now Qt has tried to be smarter than the
documentation, but is actually getting in the way of the user,
where a manual set value to setSingleStep will continuingly
be overwritten (on e.g resize).
This patch ensures the behavior described in the documentation
for the vertical headers - and leaves the control to the user.
[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QAbstractItemView] QTBUG-7232 - In ItemViews
scrollbars will now by default only scroll 1 pixel when scrollMode
is set to scrollPerPixel. That is it will (when scrollMode is
scrollPerPixel) do what is stated in the documentation, and no
longer automatically adjust the scrollbars singleStep. The user
can now control that value.

This patch allows to set which logical index the tree is in.
Before the tree always displayed data from the logical index 0,
but it is actually more likely that the user wants to have data
from visual index 0 (which can be done by special value -1).
There is nothing special about logical index 0, and not being
able to change the tree-data is just annoying.

Added SH_Widget_Animate in QStyle styleHint, and use it to determine
whether widgets should be animated or not.
In this patch QTabBar, QColumnView,QTreeView and QWidgetAnimator are
patched to obey the new Hint.

Currently Qt looks at 1000 rows when scaling a column.
That can be slow in some situations and too inaccurate in others.
With this patch we leave it up to the user to decide how precise
e.g resizeToContents should be.

Maybe spans would be better in QTreeView than QHeaderView - but
from what I have seen of them (complex and slow) I doubt that
it is what we want in QTreeView.
Beside that the code removes a dead line of code, that is bug.
This is a comment fix that does not change the code.

QTreeView actually had a better model than QTableView, but after
previous patches QTableView now has a better one.
This patch makes sizeHintForColumn similar to what QTableView has.

Some of sizeHintForColumn is now moved into widthHintForIndex.
(and in QTreeView some of sizeHintForRow into heightHintForIndex)
This makes the code a bit more readable and it prepares some
extensions that will use these functions more. There should
be no semantic changes in this patch.
In releasemode this does not seem to have a performance cost.
(QTableView actually seemed to be a bit faster)

This patch adds SizeAdjustPolicy to QAbstractScrollArea.
If it is set to AdjustToContents it will make use of the new
protected viewportSizeHint() (BC since it was reserved in Qt5).
This function returns a suggested size based on contents.

QTreeViewPrivate has a private function hasVisibleChildren that
returns if an index has visual children. This can (and should)
check the ItemNeverHasChildren flag.
That will likely be an performance improvement and it will ensure
consistent behavior in error-situations. (The flag will then always
overrule even if the model is inconsistent)

This prevents the user of moving the leftmost column.
There will be no API to allow move of the tree-structure.
It is very weird to do that, so it shouldn't be a problem.
In case it is a big problem somewhere it can be hacked with:
QTableView unused;
unused.setVerticalHeader(tree->header());
tree->header()->setParent(tree);
unused.setVerticalHeader(new QHeaderView(Qt::Horizontal));

Cached hoverBranch could get invalid if branches were collapsed or
expanded programmatically, leading to a crash in some situations.
Fixed the logic for updating hovered over branch indicators and
also now update hoverBranch when drawing so that it is guaranteed to be
up to date there - this fixes issues like hover indicator not updating
when the view is programmatically scrolled.

If you had a QTreeView with expandable items, if you tried to expand and while
the animation was still running you'd try to collpase the node,
the display would be completely broken: the items below that items would
not be visible any more except for a fraction of a second when expanding
or collapsing it again.
The problem is in the fact that when starting an animation the QTreeView
stores the state before animating. And it does that even if an animation
is already running. So the stateBeforeAnimation becomes AnimatingState and
when the animation finishes, AnimatingState is the state that is restored
breaking the painting.
Unit test is included.

The QSet<int> is a more expensive container to use and create, so
it should be avoided.
This is source incompatible compared to earlier Qt 5 for
QAbstractItemView subclasses which reimplement dataChanged, but this
patch changes nothing compared to already-present SiC compared
to Qt 4.
