Jarkko Koivikko 8bca441b6f Android: Fix deadlock caused by a race between permissions query and IM
Android permissions query blocks Qt main thread. If the input method
was activated before the permissions query started, android would try
to invoke input method before returning back to permissions query.
This will cause a deadlock.

Fix the issue by moving the deadlock counter to Qt core and
incrementing the value before the permissions query. This will prevent
the input method queries to enter Qt main thread.

Tor Arne Vestbø 919f514f29 macOS: Don't scroll individual rects of a region when inline scrolling
The QPlatformBackingStore::scroll() API takes a QRegion as input, and we
kept this data type in the implementation of QCALayerBackingStore::scroll
for the logic of figuring out whether we could use the existing back
buffer as source of the scroll or if we needed to pull data from the
front buffer.

We then iterated the rects of the resulting in-line region, and called
qt_scrollRectInImage for each of them. This will unfortunately not work
whenever the scroll of one of these rects ends up overwriting parts of
the back buffer that later rects of the region use as their source rect.

This could be reproduced by moving the cursor within a text document,
which would dirty a small area around the cursor, making the subsequent
scroll of the viewport result in garbled text.

This issue exists in the other platform backingstore implementations
too, but since the QWidgetRepaintManager never calls scroll() with
anything but a single rect they would not have any issues.

The problem could potentially be solved by sorting the rects before
blitting them, but now this quick fix solves the regression on macOS.

Tor Arne Vestbø 3188615db6 iOS: Handle changes in user font preferences by invalidating font database
The user may tweak the appearance of text rendering on iOS to aid a11y,
by making the text larger or smaller, or bold. This feature, known as
Dynamic Type, will be reflected in the preferred content size category
of the application.

When we detect changes in this preferred content size category we respond
by invalidating the font database, which will trigger the application
to re-evaluate the sizes and weights of the theme fonts.

Unfortunately we do not currently pick up or propagate the scaled font
metrics when an explicit point or pixel size has been set on a QFont,
but this problem exists regardless of whether we dynamically handle
changes to dynamic types or only pick them up after an application
restart.

Volker Hilsheimer 4ac00ca901 QTabBar: let styles draw tab text with foreground role
QTabBar::setTabTextColor's documentation and implementation suggests
that the set color will always be used unless invalid, and that the
foreground role is used otherwise. QTabBar then sets the foregroundRole
palette entry to the specified color before calling the style. The intent
is evidently that the tabTextColor is used no matter the foregroundRole
(which by default is the role that contrasts with the background role).

If the styles always paint the text with WindowText, then the tabTextColor
gets ignored if the foregroundRole is not WindowText (perhaps because
the backgroundRole is set to Base).

Fix this by respecting the widget's foregroundRole when painting the tab
label in the common style (which is the only style that implements
drawControl for CE_TabBarTabLabel). QMacStyle and QStyleSheetStyle
need to be adjusted to prepare the palette consistently with the logic
in QTabBar.

Laszlo Agocs 68a4c5da9a Compose render-to-texture widgets through QRhi
QPlatformTextureList holds a QRhiTexture instead of GLuint. A
QPlatformBackingStore now optionally can own a QRhi and a
QRhiSwapChain for the associated window. Non-GL rendering must use
this QRhi everywhere, whereas GL (QOpenGLWidget) can choose to still
rely on resource sharing between contexts. A widget tells that it
wants QRhi and the desired configuration in a new virtual function in
QWidgetPrivate returning a QPlatformBackingStoreRhiConfig. This is
evaluated (among a top-level's all children) upon create() before
creating the repaint manager and the QWidgetWindow.

In QOpenGLWidget what do request is obvious: it will request an
OpenGL-based QRhi. QQuickWidget (or a potential future QRhiWidget)
will be more interesting: it needs to honor the standard Qt Quick
env.vars. and QQuickWindow APIs (or, in whatever way the user
configured the QRhiWidget), and so will set up the config struct
accordingly.

In addition, the rhiconfig and surface type is (re)evaluated when
(re)parenting a widget to a new tlw. If needed, this will now trigger
a destroy - create on the tlw. This should be be safe to do in
setParent. When multiple child widgets report an enabled rhiconfig,
the first one (the first child encountered) wins. So e.g. attempting
to have a QOpenGLWidget and a Vulkan-based QQuickWidget in the same
top-level window will fail one of the widgets (it likely won't
render).

RasterGLSurface is no longer used by widgets. Rather, the appropriate
surface type is chosen.

The rhi support in the backingstore is usable without widgets as well.
To make rhiFlush() functional, one needs to call setRhiConfig() after
creating the QBackingStore. (like QWidget does to top-level windows)

Most of the QT_NO_OPENGL ifdefs are eliminated all over the place.
Everything with QRhi is unconditional code at compile time, except the
actual initialization.

Having to plumb the widget tlw's shareContext (or, now, the QRhi)
through QWindowPrivate is no longer needed. The old approach does not
scale: to implement composeAndFlush (now rhiFlush) we need more than
just a QRhi object, and this way we no longer pollute everything
starting from the widget level (QWidget's topextra -> QWidgetWindow ->
QWindowPrivate) just to send data around.

The BackingStoreOpenGLSupport interface and the QtGui - QtOpenGL split
is all gone. Instead, there is a QBackingStoreDefaultCompositor in
QtGui which is what the default implementations of composeAndFlush and
toTexture call. (overriding composeAndFlush and co. f.ex. in eglfs
should continue working mostly as-is, apart from adapting to the
texture list changes and getting the native OpenGL texture id out of
the QRhiTexture)

As QQuickWidget is way too complicated to just port as-is, an rhi
manual test (rhiwidget) is introduced as a first step, in ordewr to
exercise a simple, custom render-to-texture widget that does something
using a (not necessarily OpenGL-backed) QRhi and acts as fully
functional QWidget (modeled after QOpenGLWidget). This can also form
the foundation of a potential future QRhiWidget.

It is also possible to force the QRhi-based flushing always,
regardless of the presence of render-to-texture widgets. To exercise
this, set the env.var. QT_WIDGETS_RHI=1. This picks a
platform-specific default, and can be overridden with
QT_WIDGETS_RHI_BACKEND. (in sync with Qt Quick) This can eventually be
extended to query the platform plugin as well to check if the platform
plugin prefers to always do flushes with a 3D API.

QOpenGLWidget should work like before from the user's perspective, while
internally it has to do some things differently to play nice and prevent
regressions with the new rendering architecture. To exercise this
better, the qopenglwidget example gets a new tab-based view (that could
perhaps replace the example's main window later on?). The openglwidget
manual test is made compatible with Qt 6, and gets a counterpart in form
of the dockedopenglwidget manual test, which is a modified version of
the cube example that features dock widgets. This is relevant in
particular because render-to-texture widgets within a QDockWidget has
its own specific quirks, with logic taking this into account, hence
testing is essential.

For existing applications there are two important consequences with
this patch in place:

- Once the rhi-based composition is enabled, it stays active for the
lifetime of the top-level window.

- Dynamically creating and parenting the first render-to-texture
widget to an already created tlw will destroy and recreate the tlw
(and the underlying window). The visible effects of this depend on the
platform. (e.g. the window may disappear and reappear on some,
whereas with other windowing systems it is not noticeable at all -
this is not really different from similar situtions with reparenting
or when moving windows between screens, so should be acceptable in
practice)

- On iOS raster windows are flushed with Metal (and rhi) from now on
(previously this was through OpenGL by making flush() call
composeAndFlush().

Timur Pocheptsov bb30beb726 QIOSFileDialog/QIOSDocumentPickerController - handle dismissed view controller
When we use a native view controller for selecting documents, we have
two methods to implement from UIDocumentPickerDelegate (a file was selected
or the selection was cancelled). Unfortunately, swiping a view away
was not handled, so neither 'accept' nor 'reject' was called. Depending
on the classes using QIOSFileDialog, this may leave them in some incorrect
state, not knowing that they are 'closed' anyway.
As suggested by Tor Arne, the solution is to implement
UIAdaptivePresentationControllerDelegate's method, namely
-presentationControllerDidDismiss:, which never gets called if the
controller was dismissed programatically (the case of accept/reject).

Ivan Solovev 79fb80152f Android: make sure that orientationChange is reported after resize
On Android orientation changes are reported from the
DisplayListener.onDisplayChanged() method, while the screen size
changes are reported from QtLayout.onSizeChanged().
In practice these callbacks come in random order, so rotating the
screen multiple times might result in inconsistent order of signals
and events.

This patch makes sure that size change events always happen before
orientation changes. This is done by caching the new orientation
values and reporting them only when needed. At this point we also
need to use QMetaObject::invokeMethod() for orientation change,
like it is done for geometry change. Otherwise the orientation
update can still be processed earlier than the geometry change.

Also note that at some point we might get an orientation change
without a size change (for example Qt::LandscapeOrientation ->
Qt::InvertedLandscapeOrientation). That is the reason for
isSimilarRotation() helper function.

As a drive-by: ignore size changes with inconsistent values when window
size is reported to have old orientation, while the screen has already
been rotated. In such cases a new size change will be triggered shortly
with normal value.

Ivan Solovev 285ea13286 Android: set all QScreen's geometry-related parameters together
Screen has 3 parameters:
- physical size
- screen size (or screen geometry)
- available geometry

Before this patch, they were reported in 3 different methods. Screen
size update and available geometry update both were generating the
"screen geometry changed" event, that updated the user-visible
parameters. As a result, at some point we could end up in an
intermediate state, when screen size was already updated, but
available geometry was not yet updated.
This was specially visible while changing the screen orientation:
at some point screen geometry could be reported for the new
orientation, while the available geometry - still for old orientation.

This patch introduces a new method to set all geometry-related
parameters together and generate only one "screen geometry changed"
event. This allows to maintain consistency between 'geometry' and
'availableGeometry' properties of QScreen.

Lorn Potter 66a76a5def wasm: enable mobile native keyboarding
This works on iOS and Android, and Windows with touchscreen.

On Android, we need to listen to the input event
of a hidden text element and synthesize Qt keyboard
events from that in order to get input events into Qt.

On Windows, we need to be more creative about bringing the native
virtual keyboard up.

Because the entire canvas is contenteditable, we need to specify the
inputmode is set to 'none', otherwise the v keyboard pops up
when user clicks anywhere on the canvas. Therefore we set a hidden
element as contenteditable, which pops up keyboard when Qt
needs it for editable widgets. On Android, this is the same
element that is used to proxy the keyboard input.

The correct calculation of the invisible frame margin and the window
border width (they are the same thing actually) is the thickness
of the size frame plus the thickness of the padded border. When
DPI is 96, both of them is 4px and thus the invisible frame margin
and window border width is 8px. So previously the empirical
magic number can work normally is because the error is very small.
It's not a big thing because even on a high DPI screen the error
is still very small. For example, on my 4K monitor with 200%
scaling, the error is only 2px, human eyes almost can't find the
visual difference. But since we now know how to calculate these
values correctly, let's use the correct calculation instead. The
magic numbers and empirical expressions just make people confused.

Michal Klocek be2745e478 Install 3rdparty headers for static builds
For static builds we need 3rdparty headers to be installed.
Leaf modules like qtwebengine needs 3rdparty libs and header for
zlib, freetype, harfbuzz, png, jpeg. Without those the Chromium bundled
versions are used, however it might end up badly if qt has already
bundled one.

Introduce new header only modules with additional arguments for
qt_internal_add_module:

 * EXTERNAL_HEADERS to pick exactly which headers are public
 * EXTERNAL_HEADERS_DIR to include whole directory preserving the
   files directory structure

Fix qtsync so it keep directory structure for all non-qt modules when
syncing headers and do not generate warnings for headers files.

Morten Johan Sørvig 738a11eeac wasm: reliably determine QScreen position
Fix bug where QWindow content would be drawn with an
offset from the QScreen’s topLeft if the page was scrolled.

On Qt for WebAssembly, screen geometry is equivalent
to canvas geometry, where the canvas position is the
position of the canvas on the document body.

getBoundingClientRect() is the correct function to use
here, however it returns a rect relative to the viewport.
Offsetting this rect by offsetLeft/Top can work in some
bases, but this offset is relative to HTMLElement.offsetParent
and not necessarily to the document body.

Determine the correct QScreen position by subtracting
the body position from the canvas position (both relative
to the viewport).

The required canvas configuration is an implementation

Ivan Solovev 60799fc141 Android A11Y: Fix value rounding
QAccessibleInterface stores values as QVariants. When dealing with
double values, as a result of some calculation (for example, Slider
value update), rounding errors can be introduced.
When converting double values to QString using QVariant::toString(),
these rounding errors result in strings like
0.30000000000000004 instead of 0.3 or
2.7755575615628914e-17 instead of 0.3 - 3 * 0.1 and similar zeroes.

To fix this issue, this patch introduces a custom conversion for
floating-point values. The idea is to convert QVariant to double,
and then convert double to QString using 'f' format and a suitable
precision, determined from the UI element's minimumStepSize(), if
it has one, otherwise falling back to QString::number()'s default
(which is 6).

Ivan Solovev a374d59abc Android A11Y: Announce value together with element name when focused
Before this patch when we focus a new element, only its description
was announced.
For elements like Slider that means that if it had no accessible name
or description, its value would be announced (all is fine here).
But if the slider is defined like that:
 Slider {
     Accessible.name: "int slider"
     value: 5
     from: 0
     to: 20
     stepSize: 1
 }

only the name ("int slider") will be announced, but not the actual

This patch fixes the logic of content description generation. If the

as well.

The C++ code, which is called from Java, was executed on Java thread.
However Qt has its own main GUI thread, where all GUI elements and their

This patch uses QMetaObject::invokeMethod calls to dispatch all the
critical parts of the C++ code to the main thread.
It uses BlockingQueuedConnection, so that Java thread can still use
these methods synchronously.
The proper context is based on the m_accessibilityContext object, which
is created as a child of the base accessibility QObject of the
application (which is the QGuiApplication instance in most cases).

David Skoland 5359d420af Move input event logic into QWasmCompositor
Move the window logic and state out of QWasmEventTranslator and into
QWasmCompositor.

The reasoning for this change is that the state of the windowing
system was split between QWasmCompositor (eg. window stack) and
QWasmEventTranslator (eg. dragged and pressed windows). This change
moves the input handling and state to QWasmCompositor and demotes
QWasmEventTranslator to a helper class. In this model, QWC acts
as a proper window system / display server and can leverage multiple
helper classes which are "owned" by the QWC.

Here is a quick diagram illustrating the proposed general architecture
around WASM window handling and its difference from typical OSes:

Timur Pocheptsov c30af31f99 QSslSocket (SecureTransport) add TLS 1.3 ciphersuites
At some point we decided to support a custom set of ciphersuites specified
by QSslConfiguration (which if you ask me was never a good idea). The law
of unforseen consequiences bit us again: since we now give a set of ciphesuites
to QSslConfiguration and set ciphesuites from the configuration a socket has,
we are limited by the ciphersuites we know about at the moment of 'coding'.
Meaning if an SDK was updated and CipherSuite.h later adds more ciphersuites,
we miss them and 'don't support them', while we ... actually do.

This patch tries to add some more ciphersuites introduced in TLS 1.3 (interesting,
SecureTransport does not support TLS 1.3, but TLS 1.3 suites can be used in TLS
1.2 session).

The CALayer backingstore never had a scroll implementation because we
were relying on the QRasterBackingStore implementation, but as it turned
out that implementation was not applicable for the CALayer backingstore.

We now implement scroll() by determining which part of the back buffer
can be scrolled directly in-place, and then scrolling the rest by
copying from the front buffer. We have to handle both cases, as clients
may scroll multiple times before flushing, and the scrolled area may
overlap both valid back-buffer content and content that needs to be
pulled from the front-buffer.

In Qt 5, QVariant::isNull returned true if either the variant didn't
contain a value, or if the value was of a nullable type where the type's
isNull member function returned true.

In Qt 6, QVariant::isNull only returns true for variants that don't
contain a value; if the value contained is e.g. a null-QString or
QDateTime, then QVariant::isNull  returns false.

This change requires a follow up in the SQL drivers, which must
still treat null-values the same as null-variants, lest they write data
into the data base.

Add a static helper to QSqlResultPrivate that implements isNull-checking
of variants that contain a nullable type relevant for Sql, and add a
test case to the QSqlQuery test that exercises that code.

stop painting.

We guard for this scenario by moving the keyCode access into the

making the KeyEvent usable with generic NSEvents (even if that
means it will only pull out the timestamp and modifiers).

We also prefer to use the currently interpreted NSEvent, if one is

Volker Hilsheimer 4bee9cdc0a macOS: Fix QSlider's knob positioning on Monterey
QMacStyle has a single NSSlider that is used to render any QSlider. For
each QStyle API operating on a slider, the style sets the slider up with
respecive properties. On macOS 12, the NSSlider maintains some states
that make QSlider instances influence each other's knob position when
rendering, resulting in uncontrollable jumping of the slider.

This can be fixed by not using startTrackingAt/stopTracking APIs, which
are however the only way we have to make the slider knob get rendered
pressed - there is no property in NSSlider(Cell), and none of the NSCell
attributes have any effect. So we need to use startTrackingAt, and work
around the side effect by reinitializing the NSSlider by calling
initWithFrame.

This fixes the positioning error, but also causes flickering of the knob
when dragging. To fix the flickering, we have to always call
startTrackingAt for a slider that is pressed, even for calls to
setupSlider that are made in QStyle APIs that are not drawing anything.

Also tried with no complete success (either positiong bug or flicker):
* call prepareForReuse on the NSView
* always call stopTracking on the NSSlider

Richard Moe Gustavsen 30276cec3d QIOSTextInputOverlay: listen for selection changes, also for Qt::ImReadOnly
The focus object can emit selection updates (e.g from mouse drag), and
accept modifying it through IM when dragging on the handles, even if it
doesn't accept text input and IM in general (and hence return false from
inputMethodAccepted()). This is typically the case for read-only text fields.
So we should listen for selection changes and enable handles also for
this case (unless the IM hints tells us explicitly not to use handles/edit menu).

Richard Moe Gustavsen aae4d52cbb QIOSInputContext: use QIOSResponder when the focus object is Qt::ImReadOnly
In Qt, Qt::ImEnabled means that the focus object accepts text input from
input method (IM) events. But the IM API also contains API for dealing
with text selections. Text input and text selections are logically two
different operations, but since IM makes use of selections to implement
text input (like selecting a word to suggest a spelling correction), it's
understandable that they are combined into to same API.

So when a focus object reports Qt::ImEnabled to be false, it only means
that it doesn't accept input. E.g a TextArea in QML with "readOnly:true"
will set Qt::ImEnabled to false. At the same time, it can have
"selectByMouse:true", which lets you select text with the mouse.
This behavior is consistent in Qt, for both Quick, Controls 2 and Widgets.

Since we want to support any selections done in controls/widgets on iOS
with selection handles and edit menus, regardless if the focus object
accepts input or not, this patch will set the QIOSResponder (with read-only
actions) as first responder when we detect a focus object with Qt::ImReadOnly.
This means that if a query for Qt::ImReadOnly returns "true", we take that
to mean that it implements the IM API, but without accepting input.

Richard Moe Gustavsen 2211092aa5 QIOSTextInputResponder: factor out the "read-only" part to a QIOSTextResponder base class
QIOSTextInputResponder has two responsibilities; It takes care of
handling text input from UIKit, and to implement first responder
actions related to the edit menu, like copy and paste.

Currently the responder offers both writable (paste) and
readable (select, copy) actions. Because of the former, it means
that it can only be used for focus objects that accepts text input.

Since we also want to be able to show an edit menu for selections
done on a read-only input field, this patch will factor out the
read-only actions we want for that case into a QIOSTextResponder
base class. An instance of this class can be used as first responder
for a focus object that has read-only text, but otherwise doesn't
support text input. This part is implemented in a subsequent patch.

The remaining set of writeable actions, together with input method
handling, will continue to be in the QIOSTextInputResponder subclass.

again before Core Animation has time to flush the transaction and persist
the layer changes to the window server, and would also automatically deal
with requests to flush without painting anything.

But, since a client may do several rounds of beginPaint/endPaint before
flushing, we might end up in a situation where we detect that a surface
is in use in the middle of several paint rounds, and end up swapping in
a new back buffer without copying over the previously painted content,
like we do in prepareForFlush. To be on the safe side we swap the back
and front buffer straight away.

We also need to mark the surface in use, to prevent the same problem
from appearing when the window server doesn't pick up the surface in
between two rounds of flushes.

Lars Knoll 28138aa80a Fix show()/hide() for child windows on xcb
Change e946e6895a implements proper
support for ICCM 4.1.4 window state handling. One issue it addressed
is that a show() after a hide() needs to be delayed until the window
manager/X-server has processed the previous event.

This was handled with a deferred task list to send the map/unmap
events. According to ICCM, we should wait for the _NET_WM_STATE
notification before processing the deferred events.

But this is only true for top level windows, as child windows are
not handled by the window manager and will never receive any
_NET_WM_STATE notifications. For those, we should use the unmap
notify event, which means that the X-server has processed the unmap
and handle deferred events once that notification has been received.

This fixes an issue in Qt Multimedia, where QVideoWidget would not
show the video anymore after a minimize of the player or when making
the QVideoWidget fullscreen. This is because QVideoWidget uses an
embedded QWindow to render video using HW acceleration.

Change 64d62c53c1 started treating an

presses, if e.g. an edge swipe for the android back gesture starts on a

When Android takes possession of the motion, an ACTION_CANCEL is
delivered, which needs to be handled as such. It should not be treated

So let's use QWindowSystemInterface::handleTouchCancelEvent to treat it

AppKit automatically appends "Start Dictation..." and "Emoji & Symbols"
menu items, after a separator, to a menu in the menu bar that has the
title "Edit" in the operating system language.

Qt applications might however be translated to some other language, in
which case the "Edit" menu is not recognized by AppKit, and the menu
items won't be added. This is bad for accessibility and for users
wanting to type emojis.

If we have a menu that has the title "Edit" as translated in Qt's i18n
system, then create those items manually. To prevent a duplication of
the system- provided menu items, don't add the items if there already
is one with the action being set to the relevant selector. Otherwise,
perform the selector or call the NSApplication method ourselves. This
then results in the relevant keyboard input through regular code paths.

Tor Arne Vestbø 848e3855f9 macOS: Don't require marked text before passing mouse down to input context
There are situations where the input context might want the event,
even if there's no marked text, for example when long-pressing A
with a US keyboard layout and getting the accent popup. In that
case we want a press somewhere else in the input item to move the
cursor, and commit the current preedit.

This is the same approach as NSTextView has, always calling
handleEvent, and in line with the recommendation from Apple:

Tor Arne Vestbø 3007050db7 macOS: Pass on mouse press if input context didn't handle it
We follow the approach of [NSTextView mouseDown:] by bailing out if the
input context handled the event, and otherwise passing it along to the
input item.

This allows moving the cursor with a single click in the input item,
which will also commit the current preedit string as is, depending on
the input context.

For some reason 2-Set Korean input results in plain insertText calls
for each step of the composition with an NSTextView, while we get
marked text. The result is that when composing with 2-Set Korean,
a native NSTextView will only require a single click to move the
cursor, while for us it requires two, since the input context says
it handled the event.

We opt to follow the behavior of NSTextView to bail out if the
input context handled the event, instead of trying to emulate
the observed behavior for 2-Set Korean by always passing the
mouse event on, as the former seems like a safer approach.

This is also in line with the recommendations from Apple:

 https://lists.apple.com/archives/cocoa-dev/2012/May/msg00539.html

Volker Hilsheimer 74e634d82c macOS: Correctly record normalGeometry in Cocoa plugin
Cocoa sends QWidget the state-change notification after the window has
been resized already, at which point we cannot store the normal geometry
anymore.

Handle zoom and full screen callbacks prior to the state changing
to store the geometry in QCocoaWindow. We do not need to handle
minimized state, as the window will still reflect the original
geometry.

Return the stored value from an override of
QPlatformWindow::normalGeometry so that QWidget gets the correct values
even though the new state is already active.

Fix the tst_QWidget::normalGeometry test to make it pass on all
platforms by waiting for the window to actually have transitioned to
the new state before comparing geometries. Both macOS and Windows fully
pass; on Xcb, deminimizing a window using setWindowState does not work,
which is why the test was partially skipped (confirmed by visual
testing). Move those problematic, complex test cases to the end so
that most cases are covered on Xcb as well.

Andreas Buhr a47f66cee2 Android: Fix handling of cursor position when stop composing
This is a workaround for a problem in TextEdit.
The symptom is that when the user places the cursor inside
of a word and hits backspace, the last letter of the word
is removed instead of the letter just before the cursor.
The reason is as follows.
When stopping composing, the current cursor position has to
be maintained. To that end, QAndroidInputContext sends an
event containing the text to be committed and the cursor position
to the editor. But the resulting cursor position is wrong.
This patch adapts QAndroidInputContext to send two events:
One to commit the text, the second to place the cursor.
A real fix would fix the editor to correctly
handle the event containing both the committed text and
the cursor position.

Thiago Macieira cb0ea39895 CMake: remove support for building Qt with the old Intel compiler
This hasn't worked for some time. It's not in our CI and I don't think
it was working at all. When I tried to build it, I ran into several
problems with C++17 and an Internal Compiler Error I did not have any
interest in working around.

After discussing with the Intel compiler team, it was decided that
fixing those issues in the old compiler is not going to happen. Instead,
their recommendation is to adopt the new LLVM-based compiler, which
the last commit added support for.

This commit does not remove qmake support for the old ICC. It's possible
someone is using qmake with a non-Qt6 project and ICC.
