By making it possible to specify the place in memory where a
type should be constructed, any meta-type can be allocated on
the stack, for example. In the QML/JS QObject binding, this
makes it possible to call slots and access properties from
JavaScript without having to perform any mallocs (e.g. due to
QVariant creation) in the C++ <--> JS value conversion, in
the best case.
In addition to QMetaType::construct() and QMetaType::destruct(),
this change introduces QMetaType::typeSize(), which returns the
size of a type in bytes. This can be used to prepare a suitable
buffer for constructing a type using construct().
Benchmarks indicate that in-place construction is 2-5x faster
than normal construction for core and GUI types on linux-g++.
Note that there is already a QMetaType::construct() function
in Qt 4, which has been renamed to QMetaType::create() in Qt 5.
In order to avoid existing usages of construct() in user code
to call the Qt 5 construct() (when they really meant to call
create()), the third argument ("copy") of construct() is made
mandatory. Hence, calls to QMetaType::construct() written for
Qt 4 will cause a compile error when compiled with Qt 5, and
the user must adapt his code.

In QWidget::setWindowState() there was some code to emulate window
states when they're not supported by the backend, by hiding the window
on minimize or using the screen geometry and the frameless window hint
to manually try to make a window fullscreen.
However, some of this code was being run even when the backend does
support setting window states, specifically calling setParent(0) to
force a re-creation of the platform window and calling show(). These led
to the window getting the wrong position after being minimized or
fullscreen and going back to the normal state.
Apart from storing the normal geometry of a widget when going away from
the normal state we shouldn't do any magic when the call to
QPlatformWindow::setWindowState() succeeds.
tst_QWidget::windowState() still fails due to calling move() to set the
position of the widget including the frame, when QWindow currently only
supports setting the position of the widget excluding the frame.

This API is based on the current native menu

QPlatformIntegration::screens() no longer has to be implemented,
implementations should call QPlatformIntegration::screenAdded() for each
screen instead. This is for being able to support adding screens at
run-time later on, by connecting it to a signal in QGuiApplication.
The QGuiGLContext API has changed a bit, by not sending in all the
parameters in the constructor but instead having a create() function.
The createPlatformGLContext() factory in QPlatformIntegration takes a
QGuiGLContext * instead of a QSurfaceFormat and a share context, similar
to how the window and backing store factory functions work.
The XCB plugin has experimental support for connecting to multiple X
displays simultaneously, creating one or more QScreen for each.

Global changes:
qglobal.h: remove code that sets Q_WS_MAC and
Q_MAC_USE_COCOA - this is dead code now. Add
qt_widget_helpers_mac_p.h/mm which will contain
helper functions needed for widgets on Qt 5.
Menu-related changes:
Set AA_DontUseNativeMenuBar before creating the
platform plugin. Change Q_WS_MAC to Q_OS_MAC in the
menu code. Remove Q_MAC_USE_COCOA defines and Carbon
code paths. Move some qt_mac helper functions only
used by the menu system to qmenu_mac.mm. #ifdef out
some code paths that require further porting.
Native menus are now disabled by default but can
be enabled by the QPA plugins that want them by
clearing AA_DontUseNativeMenuBar. Since we at compile
time don't know which plugin will be loaded the Mac
menu code is always included when building on OS X.
(The above is currently only relevant for the Cocoa
plugin.)
Test code to check input methods using the ibus backend
used on e.g. ubuntu. The IM code is not very sophisticated,
but enough to test that things are working.

QInputMethodQueryEvent will replace the old
inputMethodHints() and inputMethodQuery() APIs
in QWidget. It has the advantage that it works
nicely with any kind of QObject.
add QPlatformInputContext to help supporting
complex text input. Communication with the
focus objects/widgets will happen slightly
different then before, through events instead of
methods one can query on QWidget.
Platform plugin creation is now moved forward in
order to have a platform plugin instance at event
dispatcher creation time.
Plugins are now responsible for implementing
PlatformIntegration::createEventDispatcher and returning
an QAbstractEventDispatcher subclass.
Rename QGuiGLFormat to QSurfaceFormat, and make QWindow sub-class of
QSurface and QPlatformWindow sub-class of QPlatformSurface, instead of
having QPlatformGLSurface accessor in QWindow.
To enable having a single GL context used for multiple drawables we need
to de-couple the context class a bit more from the window class in the
plugin API. Now contexts are created stand-alone based on a GL format
and a share context, and when calling makeCurrent() a desired surface
is specified. This maps well to GLX, EGL, Cocoa, AGL, and WGL, which all
support this use case.
QWindowContext is renamed to QGuiGLContext, and QWindowFormat is renamed
to QGuiGLFormat. We have the ability to introduce a pbuffer or similar
other offscreen GL drawable abstraction in the future.
There is a #define DrawText DrawTextW in winuser.h which is included
in windows.h so that the enum value in line 1981 is seen as DrawTextW
and thus is not a valid enum value on Windows.

This requires adding a couple of window system interface events, namely
Map, Unmap, and Expose. When a widget is minimized on X11 it is
unmapped, and thus update requests should not be delivered. Instead the
event will delivered when the widget is mapped, which causes an Expose
event to be sent. The Unmap and Expose event thus need to be handled in
QWidgetWindow, and Map is also added for the purpose of API symmetry
(and for future needs).
topData() is called from various functions for any kind of widgets,
not just for top-levels. Therefore createTLSysExtra cannot assume
that the widget is top-level. Previously QWindows were created
for desktop widget, toolbars, mdi subwindows, etc. which is
wrong. The patch will avoid this, and will also fix drawing
isses when dragging mdi windows.

The window member in extra should remain null for widgets
that do not have a native window. The change introduced
in an earlier commit is clearly wrong.
This also makes modal hints set properly for dialogs so the
additional checks during active window change are not needed
anymore.

The previous patch tried to work around the fact that Qt::SubWindow
accidentally pulled in Qt::Window. This patch corrects the root
cause of the problem.
Move the DnD related classes back into
QtGui. Parts of the implementation is currently
commented out and needs to be moved to
QWidgetWindow.
SC incompatible change:
APIs taking QWidget * now take QObject *
If a QWindow has a parent but is top-level the corresponding
QPlatformWindow should not be re-parented but instead be made transient
for the parent window if possible.
